BDO Barbados, previously known as Ward, Patel & Co Chartered Accountants, was established in 2012 by two of the firm's current managing partners, Joseph Ward and Hanif Patel.

The organization is based in The Gables, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael Barbados, and has 4 partners, 2 managers and over 30 professional staff. The firm is focused primarily on audit services, which account for approximately 73% of revenues, as well as consulting and tax services, which are delivered in the main to a locally-based small and medium sized client portfolio that is characterised by stability and loyalty.
